The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is looking forward to attending a roundtable event @educationgovuk today to discuss some of the key skills challenges faced by industry, and how CITB can support them. CEO Tim Balcon is looking forward to talking with construction employers and member organisations.
CITB is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland, and Wales. Its job is to help the construction industry attract talent and to support skills development, to build a better Britain. It is an executive non-departmental public body in charge of its budget and activities. Sponsored by the Department for Education, it is also accountable to government ministers, and ultimately Parliament.
