Global BIM Summit – 17 March 2021

Building on a foundation of successful collaborations between governments, and regional public sector communities, the Centre for Digital Built Britain (Cdbb) is taking the next step together to form a Global BIM Network for the public sector.

To launch the Global Network, the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) is hosting a Global BIM Summit online on 17th March 2021.

The Global BIM Summit will bring together public sector representatives and investors to discuss the national and regional Building Information Modelling (BIM) initiatives that are accelerating the digital transformation of the sector.

The CLC will discuss the opportunity that digitalisation presents for governments and industry; and how we can collaborate as a Global BIM Network to foster inclusive growth and drive shared benefits from an open digital construction sector.

Sessions include:

  • The global view of the construction sector and the role of BIM and digital in infrastructure delivery.
  • What are the opportunities and challenges faced by national digital programs?
  • How can the global public sector collaborate and work together with industry to address these barriers?
  • Launch of the Global BIM Network for the public sector.

You can sign up to the Global BIM Summit here.
