Integral Cradles scores 100% for sustainability over the last year

Since October 2021, Integral Cradles – a SAEMA member – has maintained a 100% monthly sustainability score with its client Multiplex. The façade access solutions provider began its scoring with an average of 86%, which has since improved to 93%.

Factors that have contributed to the company’s success in achieving a perfect sustainability record include the delivery of monthly toolbox talks on site, monthly environmental audits, monthly environmental meeting attendance and the One Initiative for a positive impact.

Integral Cradles’ work at One Nine Elms is a perfect example of how it is committed to implementing positive and effective environmental solutions during its installation and maintenance works. This includes:

  • Material procurement/waste minimisation

Integral Cradles uses a monthly data integrated stock control system, which means no surplus of materials is either ordered or transported back and forth to site.

  • Pollution prevention

The efficient use of natural resources helps the industry to achieve cost and carbon targets, as well as reducing the unnecessary waste going to landfill. Integral Cradles is currently scheduled to upgrade all vans and vehicles to 100% all-electric by the end of 2022. This is in line with current company environmental targets and commitments to partner clients.

Integral Cradles has pledged to take its place amongst the most ambitious organisations, committing to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2026. This is a key part of its business model.
